It depends where and how you are having it done. I had it in my ENT's chair, took about 7 minutes, some uncomfortable needle sticks, then a little sore for a few days. My endo. also does it in his office with an ultrasound, takes about 3 minutes you do it while you lie down, and he has the ultrasound to guide it. Others do it at a radiology place. It's not too big of a deal---scarier in thought than in actuality.
