My 6 year old son was the same way for a long time. All of a sudden when he turned 5 he jumped from the 5th percentile in height and weight to the 25th percentile in weight and the 50th for height. Now at 6 people are always saying how tall he is. He could stand to gain more weight, but at least he is getting bigger.
