I'm 32, getting married in August, have a fiancee for whom I moved to Madison, WI for (and he's a poorly paid WISCONSIN state employee too)... and I probably have shingles.

Developed a rash last Wednesday which I thought was due to a fabric belt or possibly saw dust that got in my jeans. A day or so later, I started to feel a sharp pain to the right of my spine. On Saturday night, I started feeling a strong pain under my armpit on my right side. I think that's gone away now.

Going to doctor tonight (hopefully) to get a proper diagnosis and to do whatever next.

I already have depression/anxiety and reading info on this illness not only is making me feel like a 60 year old but is on-off calming and freaking me out.

Writing to share experience and get feedback or support.

I mean, COME ON!!! Shingles?!?! And a wedding?
