I have been told that the surgery is not always successful and it is far from fun. I, myself, have sleep apnea, which I have had for years and never knew. Look up the Res Med machine; there is one that is expensive but GREAT. Once the setting is in, you have no worries. Just put the nasal pillow in your nose and, voila, you will be off to sleep. The temperature from the water is set automatically. I have had mine for some time and it works like a charm. Before this, I had others that were less expensive and more bothersome.
