You really need to see a gastroenterologist. Some common problems that cause this symptom- narrowing of the cardiac sphincter that separates the stomach from esophagus. This is usually caused by reflux of acid into the esophagus which over time causes scarring and skrinkage of the sphincter. You could have a hiatal hernia as well. You need tests done to see what is causing this, and if they do a scope and find a stricture, they can stretch it out and your symptoms will instantly be gone. People also get esophageal spasm (usually painful) and tumors of the esophagus. These usually occur in mid-age or older, but nevertheless, essential to make sure there is no tumor.
Stricture is call Schotsky's Ring, and is very common. Anti reflux meds can help prevent these, and should be started after you see Dr and get a diagnosis.
