Now I'm at almost exactly 6 months and I have a weird sweet-ish taste in my mouth where the sour/bad/metallic taste used to be. It makes water taste really good - sweet. But that's the only good thing about it. Salsa tastes sweet, too, and spaghetti sauce - not in a good way. I just made fettuccini Alfredo with chicken and it tasted sweet and gross. My husband said it was great.

Unfortunately, this new sweet taste in my mouth does not make sweet stuff taste good- which seems weird. I just ate a jelly belly that tasted so funky - I only ate one.

My biggest frustration is that I still get the same old cravings for really good food, and I feel like I'm hungry all the time. But I can't satisfy the cravings, and nothing tastes very good at all. Most days I'm okay with it (kind of used to it, after 6 months), but some days I still get really bummed. Don't feel like I'm making any progress right now.
