| post op from Partial Knee Replacement
first they were going to do an opening wedge osteotomy, then a full tkr, then decided on a uni. They did it last Tuesday and so far I am pleased. I spent four hours in surgery I think. the next three days in the hospital for pain management and PT, was sent home two days ago and started walking with a cane today. Hate the walker. The pains still gets really bad if I play Superman and forget pills... I have an amazing boyfriend and son who knock themselves out to help me and make sure I don't over-do things. He even chopped my meat for me today because I forgot pain pills and didn't have the energy to smoosh my taters.
At less that one week out I am pleased and making significant progress daily. Pain is still a major issue but I expected it and was mentally prepared. I also pooped for the first time in six days today, so I am feelin' fine!!!!
