I'm not sure what you're waiting for a reply to. Your last post got several responses and ran to a three-page thread. I can't see anything else that you've posted since then. Perhaps you tried to post something and for some reason it didn't register on the forum.
Have you seen your son again since that day that he dropped by unexpectedly? Did he get a second opinion or is he now in the middle of chemo?
I hope things are going as well as can be expected. It always sounds selfish but cancer is just as hard on the family and friends as it is on the sufferer but we're expected to just get on with it without complaining. It's stressful. It's hard. And we go through the same set of emotions as the sufferer - denial, anger, resignation etc.
