Welcome back! or should that be welcome again!
As you transition into spring, you might feel better. I feel best in the spring and autumn.
As to dismissing the possibility of MS, what is the specialty of the doctor who decided this? The case for MS is made after eliminating what you do not have. While an MS Specialist may move towards a diagnosis of MS, if something else is found, the diagnostic process needs not to go further if the cause is found. At that time you would have an answer and if it is not MS, you would also have a referral to see another specialist.
If you have not been seen by an MS Specialist, I would encourage you to do so. Have you had an MRI or a VEP (visual evoked potential)? The VEP is non-invasive and not painful like the nerve conduction test can be.
