 Anal Fissures
I've had herpes since about January and have had a few outbreaks, however in the last few days I suddenly noticed I had a tear just down from my anus with a couple of bumps either side.
I googled it today and discovered its probably an anal fissure. Everything online says it'll likely heal itself in 1-2 weeks but as I'm assuming mine is linked with the herpes I was wondering what to do about it?
It's very itchy so I've been using a cream I got given when I first got herpes.
I'm not on full time medication to prevent outbreaks but if this is another outbreak around the anus only then I should probably go to my doctor.
Any advice? It hurts a lot when I go to the toilet and is constantly irritating especially when I'm working long hours.
