Not sure why this was post dated 7/31, and it is just showing up on board as a new post? Anyway, your headaches do sound typical of migraine, but I believe every migraine sufferer deserves, at least initally, to have a CT scan or MRI to rule out anything more serious. A neurologist is the best Dr to deal with migraines, or a headache specialist. There are specific migraine meds that can abort a headache, especially since you have auras well before the headache. Sleep apnea should be documented thru a sleep study and treated, as untreated apnea can cause serious health problems, such as high BP, weight gain, diabetes, daytime fatigue and sleepiness, and lower oxygen levels during day, causing shortness of breath and air hunger. I have personally experienced that problem, and treatment has helped immensely. I would encourage you to see a sleep specialist and get formally tested, as there is more to sleep apnea than meets the eye. There are different kinds, different severities, etc. I hope you already have some answers by now, but maybe something here will help you as well.
