foot drop?

Hi Guys,

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right forum but I wanted to see if anyone ever experienced foot drop?

This past Monday I was playing tennis and there was no injury but the next day I was sore and the muscle next to my shin was sore. The on Wednesday I was walking and I noticed I couldn't list my ankle since I was still sore.

Today has been the same but now I realize I can not lift my toe or ankle towards my body. I went online and I found the condition is called foot drop.

But it seems most of the time it has to do with an injury to the back to or the ankle which I did not have.

I still have the soreness in the muscle around the shin area but there is no pain. I guess what I'm trying to find out will this go away? I just don't think I can have this foot drop because of playing tennis and I got sore muscle? And if I had damaged the nerves I think I would be in pain.

Any advise is appreciated.

Thanks!

Tony
