Re: Important question

August of 2002 I was diagnosed with Viral Meningitis which they said was caused by the West Nile Virus. Was in the hospital 6 days. Upon returning home I felt so bad and did not seem to be getting better, the hurting all over in every single muscle of my body, etc. My doc said it couldn't possibly still be the Viral Meningitis so was sent to specialist after specialist. One would say it was possible I could have Post Viral Syndrome and others would say it was Fibromyalgia. So I set about doing all the research I could find on the two. It is common for Fibro to rear it's ugly head after a viral infection. Life as I knew it prior to August 2002 ceased to exist...now I'm just a useless Chronic Pain/Fibro patient.
