I think it's quite possible you have depression. It sounds like you're dealing with a lot of problems, and to make it worse, you're stuck at home because of your back injury.

Yes, I think talking to a therapist would be beneficial. I think when you feel you need to talk to someone, that's usually a good indicator you should find a therapist to talk to. You're already aware of what it is that you need help with. Getting a professional and objective opinion about your relationship with your mother and your crying episodes may help you with finding ways to cope and improve your situation.
