Stapled hemorrhoidopexy vs Banding

I have grade 1 and 2 internal hems and my surgeon has recommended either a stapled hemorrhoidopexy (PPH) or banding, assuming ofcourse, that I don't just want to wait them out.

Banding is fairly straightforward. What I'm looking for are experiences of people who have had a stapled hemorrhoidopexy and results in both the short and long term.

I have already gone through the fissure-absess-fistula story and the hems are the latest chapter. I do have a good, specialized surgeon, who has, so far, delivered some good results (albeit sometimes painful).

I've almost ruled out banding, as I don't wish to have multiple procedures every few weeks. So I'm just trying to determine if PPH is worth the risks (some scary stories about it here...).

Anyone with experience, either the procedures or the issue itself, kindly comment.
