Hi, is there anyone who has had a big toe fusion who has managed to run/do sports afterwards? I have had a cheilectomy but it has failed as the pain is as bad as before and it is really affecting my sport which is dog agility, so i need to be able to run, pivot at speed, side step/recerse at speed. The only option left to me is a fusion of the big joint at base of big toe. I have put it off as i am scared of not being able to do the sport i love, any help/advice needed, thanks.
