Did they look for signs of a stroke or blood clot? I'm not a doctor at all but that was the first thing I thought of after reading your post. Have they checked your aorta and venous system? I'm probably way off, but I would ask for some check on the blood ways.

Also, it's my opinion that if you get poo-pooed further, you should find a new PCP who won't treat you like a woman, but like a person who has a real problem. If a new PCP isn't possible, then I would confront the doctor about being treated poorly. Speak up for yourself!
