my doctor did a MTHFR gene test, and homocysteine. they came back positive and very high. mthylation of b12 in the brain doesnt happen and leads to many problems that being one of them. hope this helps, and its genetic also so you may have to get other kids, yourself, etc...tested later.
Now i know why i was always sick and very toxic!
