It is good you are questioning what is causing the osteo at your age. Some illnesses related to early osteoporosis are gluten intolerance, Vit D deficiency, lupus, alcoholism, estrogen deficiency and hyperparathyroidism. I would see an osteoporosis specialist first to see what might be uncovered. Anemia, if present, is common in gluten intolerance and celiac disease and lupus. Lactose intolerance is indirectly related because many people just stop drinking milk and get calcium deficient. Hyperthyroidism can also cause osteo. So there are lots of possibilities to consider but perhaps one or two of these stand out to you as making sense in your situation, and I would get thosed checked out first.
