I'm 20yrs old and had an ablation done three days ago. It was a bit scary but really not too bad. They gave me something to "take the edge off" which made me calm but I was still completely aware of what was going on. The only things that were very painful were the local freezing in my legs and at the end when they pull out the tube they used to put the cathadars in. The tube coming out was a lot of pressure on my leg so it didn't actually hurt, just was very uncomfortable. My procedure took 4 1/2 hours but they can often take more than 5. I don't really know what else you want to know about it, but let me know if you have any questions and maybe I can answer them for you.
