Fish oil and blood pressure medication

Hi,

I've taken fish oil for a very long time. I've taken Cozaar for perhaps five years now. I started at 50mg Cozaar daily and now take 25mg daily. I also take 50mg Toprol XL twice a day for mitral valve prolapse (not for BP).

My BP has been normalizing and the diastolic sometimes gets into the fifties. I was wondering if the fish oil may be interfering with the medication. I can't imagine that it is. I'm doing a number of other "natural" things for my BP, including supplementation and slow breathing along with isometric hand squeeze exercises. I wouldn't be surprised if at some point I can come off the Cozaar.

Do any of you take fish oil as well as BP medications? What other supplements do you take and with what success?

I'd appreciate any feedback.

Thank you in advance.
