Asthma from reflux... now what?

The pulmonologist was very happy with my lungs today. He says stay on the laundry list of meds and see him in four months and if I haven't had any problems we'll start weaning me off them. The thing is, I'm pretty sure my asthma now is from reflux. The other night I was silly and ate right before I went to bed - and an hour later I was sitting bolt upright coughing up acid. That happened a night or so before I had my asthma attack too but I didn't think it was anything significant. I can only remember it's happening once or twice before that EVER. I'm waking up a bit whistley in the wee small hours, and I'm fine during the daytime when I'm up and moving around.
