I have taken fish oil for 10 yrs now. I now take 6 grams per day mostly because there is at least some evidence that it has anti-inflammatory effect. I cannot prove this to be the cause, but since I have gone to > 4 grams per day, I have far fewer aches and pains (yes, Im only 33, but have had aches and pains for years). I have not found that it helps my BP, but never carefully studied it.
I have tried garlic, citrulline/arginine, and COq10 in the past. I think that COQ10 lowers pressure somewhat (at least mine), though it produces the same side effect as I get with every vasodilating drug on the market - impairment of thinking and working memory, so I didnt continue with it.
