I get that same side effect from every antihypertensive except beta blockers and clonidine. I have been to hypertensive specialists who have postulated as to why this might be, but the commonality here is the vasodilating drugs cause this issue for me. Note that beta blockers (exc coreg, labetalol and bystolic) do not dilate the vasculature. I have tried 12+ meds over the years....for example, if I took lisinopril, I would simply be unable to use my brain in any significant capacity....cannot really remember what I have just read, have difficulty composing sentences, cannot think. COQ10 does the same to me....
