My mum aged 65, who is heavily obese with many health problem including large hernia in her stomach area (size of a small baby), stroke, arthritis, osteoporosis to name a few, has recently had some bleeding. She attended Hospital for a Hysteroctopy last week where they took a biopsy from her womb. She also had a coil removed which had been inside for 27 years. She has now been asked to attend the hospital for a MRI pelvic scan and a pre-assessment for a Hysterectomy over the next week. As her main carer, no-one seems willing to tell me what they have found during the biopsy. I am also concerned that if they have found cancer in her pelvis/ovaries etc - she is not healthy enough to receive a hysterectomy.
Can anyone give me advice???
