PCOS and TTC for 3 years

Hi,

This is my first post but after finding out today that ANOTHER friend of mine has become pregnant, I really feel like I could use some support. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for about 3 years now. We are both 36 and generally healthy. However, after going off the pill my periods became very irregular and I was diagnosed with PCOS.

We have done three cycles of fertility drugs, none of which got me pregnant. I did however get pregnant twice on my own in the past year and a half by taking only metformin, but both pregnancies ended in miscarriage. I am currently back on the metformin and have been trying again since getting my period back this past July. I am just feeling so frustrated and hopeless. I want so badly to become pregnant again but I am also scared that I will have another miscarriage. What should I do? Of course I want to keep trying to but it becomes more of a struggle as time goes on.
