You seem to have caught this very early, so as long as you get this treated odds are very low it will progress. Cervical cancer is usually slow growing. I went through this almost 10 years ago and had to have a cold knife cone because I had carcinoma in situ. I had never had a dirty pap in my life and went 3 years without one, this of course was the time it came back abnormal with high risk hpv. Thankfully, I have had clear paps since.
