If it was not a polyp then what was it?

As I said, it was the size of a marble. Round and opaque. Imagine a jellyfish and you cut a round piece off it. This is what it looked like and felt like. Not a membrane with liquid inside. Solid but very soft.

I described it to my Doc and he said. "Oh yeah, that's a polyp"
It did bleed for a few minutes.
