Lab work for thyroid meds is best fasting near 8 am. As it get later in the day your levels shift about. I do my best to get my blood work done between 8-9 am. However you test you should be consistent. Don't testing fasting in the morning one time and the medicated in the afternoon. It is best to see how you are changing by a consistent means of evaluation. Diet and many other things through out the day can change your levels that is why I prefer morning fasting testing.
