It's quite possible to have fibromyalgia AND back problems AND whatever else... you don't have to just have one illness at a time (unfortunately). Going to see a rheumatologist is the best idea - they should take your history, do some blood tests, and tell you if they think you have fibromyalgia. Knowing doesn't really change anything, but it's a lot better than the NOT knowing!
