Re: xlif for L4-L5 plif for L5-S1
Moldova....I had my second spinal fusion (L5/S1) at the Hospital for Special Surgery too. It's a wonderful hospital, my first surgery was at St Luke's in the city. I would absolutely travel a greater distance to go to the best hospital. I lived on Long Island at the time, and there were no shortage of hospitals around....but I didn't want just any hospital. I didn't think twice about a longer drive to a better hospital ( not to mention I had a great view from my window over the Hudson, my night time view of the bridges lit up was great! ) . A second opinion is a must , especially when surgery is involved.
