Greetings welcome to the healthboards, I am sorry about this situation my sympathies. I hope you feel better soon. An endocrine specialist might be important. The thyroid is said to be connected with sanity and the stomach. Both must be learned about and kept in good condition. Carrots, turnips, cabbage, brussel sprouts (cole crops) might inhibit thyroid a bit. I would keep a good schedule for meal sleep and exercise times. Broccoli may speed the thyroid. Of course everyone makes their own health care decisions and is in charge of their own health care. Peace, sjb
