You bet. Your "major symptoms" could be another person's minor symptoms. There is simply no way to predict how things will come and go. With all your body has experienced, it may take some time to recover to a point where you feel the problems are gone. Some MSers will reach a point where things are "normal" but a disability remains. Again, there is no predictor.

I realize you do not have a diagnosis yet, BUT if this is MS, there will be evidence in the form of lesions in your brain or on your spine. Just because you are feeling better, do not fall into the trap of thinking you are healed. Getting your diagnosis while you are feeling better is just as important as getting the diagnosis while you are feeling bad. In the hands of a capable MS Specialist who will look at the objective evidence, you can still get the answers you need.

It is also important that you get answers now so that you will be ready for whatever comes your way in the future. You could "return to normal" and stay that way forever. Again, there is no way to know for sure, but I would only encourage you to get answers now rather than to find yourself in limbo land in the future.
