Re: MS Symptoms?
Friendly, ask this doctor if he thinks referring you to a MS specialist is a better plan. You may be wasting alot of time. Many neuros specilize in migranes, Parkinsons, Strokes- but not MS.....very few specialize in MS.
As for the Lyme test. Id say unless you were seen by an infectious disease doctor and if that test was sent out to a specialty lab- not run at your local blood center- forget it. Read the Lyme boards on Healthboards...youll see , the statistics are probably 75% or so of false negatives...which means just because the blood work says no, doesnt make it negative.
You truly need to start working with some specialists. Youre in a bind here trusting people who know nothing about your past (Zoloft) or about what you are dealing with. He may order you the MRI because you have headaches; however he may not be credentialed to read the MRI looking for MS, in which case, its going to be read by a radiologist who is even less qualified...
Please seek out some specialists..
