Re: Childhood PTSD is Taking Over My Adult Life

Hello itsjustme721 and welcome.

My dear,we have to try and get you to begin therapy again but this time from a different perspective.
Please take the time out to both ask yourself exactly what you want to accomplish and are you still in denial.

Being in denial is common but realizing this and finding the wherewithal to take action is what separates many.

What can you do different, that you hadn't last time?

Don't be afraid to ask questions;especially if you don't know the answers.

If you want something you've never had before, you need to be prepared to do something you haven't done before.

With respect to your parents,I would suggest telling the truth;the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
If you don't,you'll burden yourself with the knowledge of false testimony and you may never be able to resolve this issue in your heart of hearts.
I will never judge your decisions;that's not what the boards are about......it's just me pointing out a few things to consider.

Respectfully
Phoenix
