Hi hope I haven't missed your window here but I had it done last jul after rot cuff surgery in may 2012. I believe they inject cortisone alsi while you are under. I was afraid too because I had bad osteoporosis in that shoulder I was worried about breakage but everything went fine. I was a little more sore afterwards and started back to pt immediately the next day to get full advantage of the MUA. I could really tell the difference too with ROM. I was glad I had. It done.
