None of my tmjd treatment has been covered by my medical or dental insurance. My MRI was the only diagnostic thing covered. My braces were 100% out of pocket. They were quite expensive because of the expertise of my orthodontist.

It is crazy how things such as my wrist problems and my jaw problems are connected so directly with minor hypermobility issues.
