I have had several other teeth root canaled closer to the front and they seemed to work out well except for one that still given me a slight sensitivity although the 2 dentists I see say nothing is wrong with that tooth.
In general I would try to save teeth where you can but if you do not have insurance root canals are very expensive when getting the crown afterwards. Typically when I had the sensation that you described it eventually needed to be addressed through either root canal or extraction. Never had any implants done as they are so expensive these days nor needed one.
Good luck I know its no fun! |
Hi, what were the reasons that you needed extractions? Should I go with an Oral Surgeon even for regular molars and not wisdom teeth? Did you have any complications with extractions?
For the front tooth that you said was sensitive, was it crowned? I wonder if shaving down original tooth would cause sensitivity since it would be down to the dentin? My front bottom tooth chipped off a bit recently and I can see a straight line down the middle that I heard is called a craze line but it looks very scary and like the tooth is about to break apart. I have been feeling pain on that one, and cold and hot sensitivity, do you know if that feeling would eventually disappear in time?
Seems all my teeth have been feeling different and weak recently, is it possible the inflammation from the back molar can spread to other teeth causing problems?
Thanks for replying!
