I would definitely seek out all other possibilities before having a tooth extracted and consider that a last measure. Lastly and perhaps MOST important I would make sure you find a dentist that you have confidence with which it sounds like you do not. That is VERY important for your success going forward. I would try to get a referral from those you trust. Best wishes!
So I went to the dentist that is nearby to see if he can fill the front tooth, and he says can't, saying something about that it will stick up and will be in the way but I didn't think so because there are adjacent teeth that are even higher than that one as is. He didn't even check carefully the crack line I told him about and find out the cause of the pain. He just says he wants to take X-ray to see if nerve is infected and says if still hurts then I can get root canal with crown or extract but coz the space is tight, I can't get implant.

For back molar, he suggested trying a metal ring to put around the crown of tooth to see if pain improves, if not then would be root canal with crown or extract. He says coz it might be cracked, the root canal may only be around 60% successful.

I regret going to this dentist, in total I have seen 4 dentists and have wasted on consultation fee, and I prices I was told for treatment on the phone was different than what the dentists told me later, his reason was the molar may be cracked and can be more complicated as the root may break during extraction etc... well he doesn't even know yet. Seems like a scam.

The next appt is with a previous dentist on July 3rd, which is much further away but seems prices are more accurate, hopefully they won't scam me when I go in for treatment. So I guess now within these 2 weeks I will have to decide what treatment or whether I do treatment for both front and back teeth. I'm swaying towards the molar just extracting it and then the tooth root canal and crown if I can't bear this pain, is that what you would choose?

I just want all this pain to go away soon.
