I suppose this info might be useful too:

Age: 24, been on the pill for about 5 years straight, stopped the first time 4 months ago

Brands used:
Demulen30
Diane35
Marvelon
Ortho-tricyclen
Alesse

I gave each brand a 4 month trial. I have seen two gynecologists, my family doctor, a doctor at a birth control clinic. All suggested to switch brands. Only my family doctor suggested I take a higher-dose pill, all others just kept switching my brands, and one even just said 'live with it' (yes, he was a man!). Sorry, but I can't live with this.
