Red face addictive personality

On an earlier post I was talking about differences between addictions to different drugs/substances and if one was harder to break then another. I used to do a variety of "street drugs" as well as drank my share and your share of alcohol. And I smoke cigarettes.
For me it was easier to quit the drugging and drinking then it has been to stop smoking! How nuts is that!! The few times I have tried to stop smoking were unsuccessful and I noticed that the WD's I got from nicotine were sometimes stronger then they were for coke or meth.
Has anyone else ever noticed this or have any advice. Smoking cigs are my only "crutch" left
