My dh and I never use a condom, only at the end of a full blown ob, when we can't stand it anymore. Other than that, we don't. We had been together for 7 months when I found out and he has been wonderful about it since day 1. He occasionally teases me about it in a loving way (sounds weird), so that I am not so self-conscious about having ob's or having it period. We only think about it when I'm having an ob, and then it's just to take my Valtrex. I have only had 2 ob's since I was dx'd almost 3 years ago.
