It says nothing about helping anxiety because it is NOT an anti-anxiety agent. I made a point about this earlier...some family physicians thinking that all anti-depressants are anti-anxiety and that is just not true. The chemicals that Wellbutrin work on are not related to anxiety. But if the anxiety is depression related then it might help because some people with depression feel anxious. But if it is the other way around or they are not related, it's not going to help your anxiety unless of course it has the placebo effect.
Effexor XR is an anti-anxiety agent that your doctor could try along with the Wellbutrin. I'm having success with it so far....
