Hi Musicmom:
I have been on Plaquenil for 4 years and have never had any problems tolerating it. For the first 3 years I was on 2 a day and have been on one a day since. I had my first good day exactly 5 weeks into it. I continue to take Celebrex also every day but am doing considerably well. I no longer have crippling episodes where I require prednisone just sore periods that come further and further apart.
I also get my eyes checked every 6 months. Good Luck
