HI, Marie and welcome to Healthboards. I am going to suggest that you make an appointment with a neurosurgeon or an orthopedic spine specialist. You need to get a clear answer to the questions you have about your back. It sounds to me like you have a bad disc and some nerve impingement. Take you last MRI films with you to the new doctor. You have been getting the run-around.

Please do not allow any more "adjustments" on your back...you could end up paralyzed! Get a diagnosis from a specialist and then make another appt. with one more doctor for a second opinion. Yes, I know, a lot of running around from one doctor to another. But, if you want clear answers it is best to get at least 2 opinions.
