Silent Reflux with Rotten egg/feces smell from nose!

I am new to this board-just diagnosed with LPR/silent reflux a few days ago. I have been having this AWFUL smell coming from my nose-it literally smells like rotten eggs and sometimes it even smells like poop!!! Sometimes I also smell it coming from my mouth too but mainly it's from my nose constantly! Is anyone else experiencing this because of the LPR? And if so how long does it take for this to go away? The smell is so strong it fills up any room/car I'm in within minutes. I have been givin a PPI (Omeprazole) to take daily in morning along with Pepcid complete to take daily at night. I also have stopped eating all of the foods believed to trigger more acid. Any help about this smell is much appreciated!!!!

Hi there,

LPR can cause chronic bad breath and this could emit from the nose. Once the acid is brought under control with the PPI you should notice an improvement. Remember to keep dental hygiene in check, frequent tongue cleaning and back of teeth can help.
