so much pressure in chest - Acid Reflux / GERD Message Board

hi, i have recently started haveing somne general GI issues(GERD,excess gas,malabsortion issues). and the gas sometines os so bad that is sems to back up into my chest, it feels as though it is pushing on my heart and if i belch the presure will cease untilo it builds back up and i have to try to belch the gas out of that cavity. is this a problem that anyone has ever heard of. thanks.

Hi, I seem to have the same problem. I have not been diagnosed with anything and I go see the Gastro doc next week. But, I have so much chest pressure and when I burp it helps a little but the pressure keeps building. Are you having back pain as well? It is driving me nuts. I am sick of feeling this way.

Do you get this when you lie down at night or just before?
I get the pressure in front and back.

Do you know what this is this called?
