| Xanax and Reflux - class action lawsuit?
1. Most physicians don't know what Laryngeal Reflux (LPR) is - because it wasn't common until recently.
2. I have not been able to find any official warnings about the use of xanax or a comparable benzo as it relates to reflux - and specifcally LPR, and/or the permanent loosenting of the upper or lower esophageal sphincter muscles. If you can find one, please let me know.
3. Chronic (long-term) acid reflux as GERD or LPR seems to be getting more common in young people.
Maybe there's a class-action lawsuit waiting here? If not, how can we get drug companies to be responsive to our suffering? Have any of you contacted the drug makers directly to make inquiries about side effects, or to make complaints about the consequences of having used their drugs?
