| Esophagopharyngeal reflux
Hello,
I was wondering if anybody knew anything about Esophagopharyngeal reflux(EPR), i just saw a webpage that referred to it. It claimed it is a condition where contents from your esophagus reflux back up to your throat, similar to LPR, where contents from your stomach reflux back up to your throat.
The main thing is, they claimed the symptoms it presents are almost identical to LPR, but it does not respond to the same treatments as LPR. I was thinking maybe some of us with LPR actually have EPR? and thats why we are having so much trouble treating it? Also wondering if anybody knows anything about EPR?
