feeling of "surprise"? - Acid Reflux / GERD Message Board

I have a strange feeling in my chest that I can best describe as the sensation you get when you're surprised-or that feeling you get on a roller coaster in your stomach, only in your chest. Has anyone else ever had this?? I just switched PPIs (to Nexium) but think I've had it before off and on. Is this related to GERD? Thanks, Skylar

I sometimes have the same feeling but never related it to GERD. Maybe someone else has an explanation.
